| The proprietor of Hoop Numbers is Joe Sill. Joe is an analytics consultant based in Chicago. He's interested in working with NBA teams or media companies which have an interest in the techniques presented here. Joe has a PhD in Computation and Neural Systems from Caltech and a BS in Applied Math (Phi Beta Kappa) from Yale. Joe was a major shareholder in The Ensemble, the second place team (out of 5,169 teams) in the recently completed $1 million Netflix Prize, the world's largest predictive modeling competition. Joe has been quoted in the New York Times and in Wired Magazine regarding the Netflix Prize.
